Hauke Strasdat is a researcher, entrepreneur, and innovator in robotics, computer vision, and augmented reality, with a track record of pioneering advancements in SLAM, numerical optimization, and sensor calibration. A recognized authority in his field, Hauke has published over 20 research articles, holds 11 patents, and developed the widely used Sophus library for state estimation. His industry career spans key roles at Industrial Perception, Google, Facebook Reality Labs. As the co-founder of Farm-ng and Space-ng, he is establishing the technological basis for the next generation of autonomous systems and space technology.

Ian Sherman is a software engineer specializing in robotics and human-machine interaction. With a Computer Science degree from Brown University, he’s held leadership roles at startups and major tech companies. He led engineering at Bot & Dolly and later at X (formerly Google X), focusing on robotics, visualization, and data systems. As Head of Software at Formant, he shaped cloud infrastructure for teleoperation. A frequent speaker at industry events like ROSCon and Siggraph, Ian combines deep expertise in robotics and interactive tech to drive innovation at Space-ng.

Giuseppe R. Pasqualino is an experienced aerospace engineer with over a decade in vision and avionics subsystems for space applications. He holds degrees in Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, and Space Resources from the Colorado School of Mines. At Redwire Space, he led the development of advanced camera systems for lunar missions and contributed to NASA’s Artemis and Sierra Nevada’s Dream Chaser programs. Known for his innovation and expertise, Giuseppe now leads hardware development at Space-ng, driving forward cutting-edge space technologies.
